IAPSP Forum

The Forum at Psychology of the Self Online will allow you to join an active discussion amongst IAPSP members. Follow the simple instructions below to learn how to access the discussion, find a topic of your interest, and read and respond to comments.

STEP 1 - LOG IN

To access the forum, please visit:
http://www.psychologyoftheself.com/forum

Scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will be prompted to log in. Use the same login information that you use to access the members' section of Psychology of the Self Online. If you cannot remember your login information, please click here to have it emailed to you.

STEP 2 - CHOOSE A SUBJECT

Once you have successfully logged in, you will arrive at the psychologyoftheself.com Forum Index, which is a list of subjects that are currently under discussion (eg. 2006 Annual Conference in Chicago or Publications). To join a discussion, simply click on the subject of your choice within that list.

STEP 3 - READ AND RESPOND TO POSTS

Once you have selected a subject from the above list, you will arrive at a second list. This is a list of Topics, within that subect, that are currently being discussed. Click a topic to read the posts that it contains. To add your own posts, you have two options:

1. To reply to a post, click the "post reply" button located directly above the post.
2. To create a new Topic for discussion, click the "new topic" button.

Once you have learned these basic steps, you may want to try some of the software features, such as creating a profile or contacting members via personal message. You will also notice various options for navigating between forum subjects and topics. Instructions for using some of these features will be available here soon. But the best way to learn how to use these features and to navigate the software is to try it and use it yourself!
